Jim Haltom retired fully from the practice of law in January 2024.

While practicing he tried or argued over 300 cases in state and federal courts and the United States Court of Appeals for the 5th, 10th, and 11th Circuits. Along with his extensive trial and appellate experience, Jim has served for years as a litigant-selected and court-appointed mediator in state and federal courts.

Jim evoked a keen sense of trial awareness and preparedness from his vast trial experiences over the years.  He offered guidance to attorneys throughout the firm and decisiveness to clients getting ready to try their case.  His dedication to his practice has produced a law firm of attorneys that have repeat clients returning for a successful outcome.
