His legal journey has been marked by notable achievements with his Haltom & Doan colleagues, including securing substantial plaintiff verdicts and obtaining numerous no-liability jury verdicts for defendants. Josh’s courtroom prowess is characterized by its breadth and depth.

During his tenure with Haltom & Doan, Josh has crafted exceptional skills in all facets of litigation. As a seasoned trial attorney, he has taken the lead as first-chair counsel, skillfully conducted and defended depositions, crafted persuasive pre-trial and post-trial briefings, adeptly handled pre-trial and post-trial hearings, meticulously selected jury panels, and conducted compelling examinations and cross-examinations of pivotal fact and expert witnesses.

Beyond the courtroom, Josh has successfully resolved cases spanning diverse legal realms, including patent infringement, antitrust, breach of contract, fraud, breach of fiduciary duties, business partnership disputes, and personal injury. His extensive range of experience allows him to provide clients with sound counsel, whether steering towards early resolution or navigating the intricacies of a trial.

In 2023, Josh was once again selected to the Texas Super Lawyer list by Thomson Reuters and recognized as an Up & Coming Intellectual Property Litigator by Chambers & Partners. He is a Fellow of the Arkansas and Texas Bar Foundations and currently serves as the Chairman of the District 1 Grievance Committee of the State Bar of Texas. Josh is also an Associate Fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America, The Trial Lawyer Honorary Society. He is an active member of the State Bar of Texas, the Arkansas Bar Association, the Northeast Texas Bar Association, the Eastern District of Texas Bar Association, the Texarkana Bar Association, and the Texas Association of Defense Counsel. Notably, he is a Past President of the Texarkana Bar Association, and a distinguished graduate of Leadership Texarkana, class of 2009, and the Arkansas Bar Association Leadership Academy, class of 2014.

Outside of practicing law, Josh enjoys spending time with his beloved wife and two cherished sons. They love all things outdoors, cheering on the Razorbacks, Saturdays spent at the ballpark, good food, and fun fellowship.
